Hand drawn animated sequences were created to look like a 5 year old's artwork, depicting the imagination of the character of Little Jack. Filmed multi-surface sequences completed the video design for Act 2.

I designed both the set and video of this stage adaptation of her hit book. The set was created to be adaptable to different size spaces and could shrink / grow depending on the venue. The video design has a drawn element based on Ruby's own drawings along with various scientific animations that Ruby would interact with.

INTO THE HOODS
With video present all the way through the show a huge amount of original animated content was produced. Working alongside the set design, they were both created to merge together with a drawn, ripped paper look.

Filmed footage mixed with original animated content. All footage was presented onstage using a 9mm LED stealth screen, which was central to the design along with 9 custom built LED panels, one of which was wireless. I also used a live camera feed for one cue of the show. The rest (unknown to the audience) were faked with pre-made film.
